The entire exam has a duration of 209 minutes, with the total question count being 170 questions. Of those 170 questions, 150 of them are scored and 20 of them are not scored. The following breakdown shows the four main subjects/sections that are on the TEAS 7 exam. Included is the time limit for each section as well as the number of questions for that respective section. Take note that each section has both scored and unscored questions. There is no way to determine which questions are scored versus unscored while taking the exam though.

The Reading Section, with a duration of 55 minutes, consists of 45 total questions, of which 39 are scored and 6 are unscored. This section aims to evaluate your ability to grasp key ideas and details, analyze craft and structure, and integrate knowledge and ideas. It includes 15 questions on key ideas and details, 9 questions on craft and structure, and 15 questions on integration of knowledge and ideas.
